Medieval Warfare
Back in the day siedges could go for months, years even. Often, fighting was just a small portion of the time and the rest was just about patience.
Yet it wasn’t always easy for battle-hardened, fiery souls to just lay in wait and something had to take the place of the fighting thrill and help use up some energy.
And what better way was there, for both humans and their mounts, than enjoying some company in a more… frisky way? So here we are in a warm summer evening, filled with the smell of dew laden grass, campfire smoke and melody of crickets. As the besieger’s camp quietens after the evening change of the guard, four war horses conjoin in the best pastime available, enjoying time together, helping one another build their strength, and most importantly bond, letting them cooperate better in the upcoming battle for the weakened fortress.
