The Colours of Dusk

Light, and dark.

The stallion stands, expectant. His stomach is full; they have feasted well today. But his other hunger is as sharp as ever, and at last that, too, shall be sated.

His feline companion speaks softly to him, caressing him, touching him where he loves to be touched. The stallion nickers with pleasure, and drops; the feline gasps and purrs. The size of him is always a surprise, and never unwelcome.

He raises a paw, and begins to lick…
